The Canaries in Organizations
Why the people who notice problems first often doubt themselves the most

Most of the time, you manage just fine.
You do your work well.
You are kind, responsible.
You perform perfectly well.
And yet, beneath the surface, it costs you far more energy than people realise.
You come close to burnout.
You pull yourself together again; sometimes with help, tools, or therapy.
You try even harder. And now you are also trying to remember everything you learned about personal development.
A few months later, you notice the same pattern returning.
You are running empty again.
This is not because you are less capable than others.
And not because you are "too sensitive".
But perhaps because you were never taught how to place your perception within systems and expectations.
So you start analysing.
Everything.
Including yourself.
You feel embarrassed that things don't seem to come naturally to you.
You try to become stronger.
And more and more often you start to wonder:
Is the problem actually me?
You don't understand why others don't see the things that seem so obvious to you.
You don't want to become 'stronger' again.
You want to learn to trust yourself.
Without sabotaging yourself.
And without losing everything you have already built.
This is where inner sovereignty begins.
We live in a culture that confuses speed with value.
Performance with identity.
Adaptation with maturity.
For highly perceptive people, this simply doesn't work.
You perceive more (and more deeply) than most people, yet you constantly override what you notice.
> You feel more.
> You see more.
And once you see it, you cannot unsee it.
Many intelligent professionals don't struggle because they lack strength,
but because there is a mismatch between their awareness and the context in which they operate.
So they work harder.
Analyse more deeply.
Try to optimise themselves.
Until their system starts to protest.
Inner sovereignty does not mean turning your life upside down.
It means learning to use yourself as a compass again;
so you can make decisions from clarity instead of shame.
Calming your nervous system and stepping out of survival mode.
Seeing through the shame–performance cycle and separating yourself from your context.
Making decisions from self-trust instead of pressure or shame.
Why the people who notice problems first often doubt themselves the most
There are many people who find themselves stuck. Quite a lot, actually.
Voel jij je soms zwak? Kijk je naar mensen die je 'sterk' vindt overkomen?
Mensen zeggen vaak tegen me:
"Jij bent zo sterk."
"Jij blijft altijd shinen!"
